LTER-LIFE, the spring connection 2026

The next LTER-LIFE semi-annual meeting will take place on 1st of April 2026 at the campus of Wageningen University. During this day we would like to ask you to help us shape the LTER-LIFE infrastructure. Based on three invited speakers and you, as participants, we will explore the way ecological research is done and the hurdles in sharing, finding, re-using data, models and scripts and in setting up extended analyses that have a high level of compexity, high computational or storage demand. We will demonstrate the LTER-LIFE service portfolio and discuss how it can be refined to support the 
The program is planned from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Do note, rooms will have limited capacity, in case of over-registration, we will handle registration on a firts-come-first-serve basis.

• Mary-Rose Mangan (UU) about a digital twin of evapotranspiration

11:00 - 14:00 Demonstrating LTER-LIFE. Presentations & demonstrations on the LTER-LIFE infrastructures. Including Lunch

14:00 - 17:00 Connecting, poster pitches and discussions on how we further develop LTER-LIFE in connection with the research that people do.
