Do you have data or models of the Wadden Sea or the Veluwe?

Andere Experts:

At LTER-LIFE we are continuously in search for 'new' and 'unknown' datasets and models, as they form the groundwork for the shared and integrated ecological research that we aim to bring about.

Many ecologists are active in doing ecological research on the Veluwe and in the Wadden Sea – our two focal areas. Year after year, data are collected on many different aspects of the ecosystem; from the atmosphere, hydrosphere and geosphere to plants, animals, and other living nature. At the same time, many ecologists develop a wide range of models to help answer various questions they have of the Veluwe and Wadden ecosystems. Sharing and integrating these data and models are key to creating a shared and integrated ecology. This is difficult because many data and models are not FAIR.

We support data custodians and model builders in making their data or models FAIR, sharing their data or models in such a way that others can find them, understand them, and reuse them for their questions and analyses. To do so, we are providing a range of services, from platforms and portals that help increase the findability of data and models to tools and guides that help increase their reusability. Find these and other developments on our Experience page

If you have data or models of the Veluwe or the Wadden Sea and would like to share them, but you do not know how to, please reach out to Stefan Vriend (for the Veluwe) or Qing Zhan (for the Wadden Sea).
